BOF/EAF Dust Turned Into Recycled and Valuable Quality Material — Ready To Be Used Again

The study to be presented is of BOF and EAF dusts where zinc and iron are bound together in a complex oxide, which post-reduction constitutes pure metallic Fe and ZnO. The Fe and Zn fraction will be presented and showcased and how it could be recycled again into the plant’s production. The small footprint of the furnace enables its placement in each locality where there is a need to reduce iron-based oxides to pure iron/steel. GreenIrons process enables recycling at the site and lower the footprint of transportation too.
