CANCELLED: Use of IIoT for Data Collection, Data-Driven Decision and Reduction of Refractory Material Consumption
This paper presents a practical case where a solution was applied using IIoT for the management of refractory application machines, including on-line monitoring of the projection flow; amount of projected refractory material; amount of water; projection time; and projection frequency by shift, class, date and time. This solution consists of a PLC, HMI and IIoT installed in an automatic projection machine. Data is collected and made available in a cloud, where they are processed to generate dashboards that facilitate data-driven decision-making routines. In this case, the use of IIoT is generating a significant reduction in the consumption of refractory material.
