Three Ingredients of Successful AI Projects in Industry

There is a lot of hype about artificial intelligence (AI), often leading us to focus on the wrong topics or have unreasonable expectations. The most hyped technologies are not necessarily the ones with the highest potential in industry. This presentation aims to provide insight regarding the application of AI in industrial settings, discussing what we tend to focus on, which is not necessarily the highest priority, and what we tend to ignore, although it is very important, especially at the beginning of an AI project. The insight is based on Tenova’s experience in developing several AI applications.
