The application of digital transformation in the steel industry means connecting, analyzing, and learning from unseen and unavailable data to create new value that was previously unavailable. Until now, partially manual temperature measurement methods such as pyrometers and thermocouples, or more recently, temperature measurement using light sensors, have been utilized, but they are limited and difficult to maintain. A new technology has been applied to solve this problem and is achieving results in the areas of safety, quality prediction, and carbon neutrality. This presentation will introduce temperature sensor technology.
