Zero-Emission Reheating Technologies: State of the Art and Future Developments of Danieli Induction Heating Systems
Increasing restrictions on CO2 emissions requires finding alternative reheating methods. Power electronics applied to induction heating provide a valid, scalable, zero-direct-emission, flexible alternative. This paper describes the modular architecture of Danieli Automation systems, with longitudinal or transversal heat flux, their scalability, performances and benefits. The paper further discusses operational results of applications both on flat and long products.
