NO SHOW: Innovative Design of High Efficiency, Low NOx Emissions and Decarbonization of Bell Annealing Furnaces
This presentation will address the design of high efficiency, decarbonization (reduction of greenhouse gases) and emission reductions such as nitrous oxide (NOx) in new bell annealing furnaces as well as modifications to existing furnaces regarding furnace design and combustion. RAD-CON Inc. and Bloom Engineering Co. Inc. worked on a collaborative effort to optimize the furnace design along with burner technology to achieve highest efficiency and lowest NOx-emitting furnaces in operation today. The special design provides furnaces that use less fuel and produce less greenhouse gases, utilizing a specific burner design that generates a small diameter flame, which also minimizes NOx.
