Arvedi Servola (Italy) and the Production of Sustainable and Green Steel

"Sustainable steel" and "green steel" are concepts we have become familiar in the last decade, especially referring to emissions and discharges generated by steel production plants. This is something everyone has been paying greater attention to, challenging conductors and plant builders to introduce cutting-edge technological solutions to reduce pollution and, consequently, global warming. Focusing on NOx, SO2 and CO2 emissions, Danieli was able to provide Arvedi’s Servola plant with a continuous galvanizing line and a painting line, whose technical solutions can satisfy the increasingly stringent demands on emissions abatement and containment. Additionally, the foundations have been laid for even more important objectives.
