Enhancing Industrial Cybersecurity in the Metals and Steel Sector: Adhering to NIST Frameworks

The convergence of IT and OT in the metals and steel industry necessitates a robust cybersecurity approach to ensure operational resilience and data integrity. A comprehensive cybersecurity model, aligned with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, is crucial. This involves risk assessment and proactive threat mitigation within the OT domain, including real-time network visibility, vulnerability identification and protection for control systems. This presentation will detail strategies and advanced solutions for mitigating cyber risks, safeguarding operational continuity and data integrity, focusing on the NIST Framework's Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond and Recover functions.
