FerSol, the New Three-in-One Water Treatment Chemical

Waste-water and process-water treatment typically rely on chemicals such as pH-control , herbicides, inhibitors, coagulants and oxidizing agents. &quot;FerSol&quot;, containing Ferrate(VI), represents a new development, combining several functions: oxidizing, coagulation and elimination of bacteria, fungi and viruses. Traditionally, Ferrate(VI) is unstable and breaks down within minutes. With &quot;FerSol&quot;, Ferr-Tech, has solved this stability problem and, in close co-operation with Danieli Corus, optimized its properties for application in steel production.<br/><br/>This article outlines the benefits: &quot;FerSol&quot; is environmentally friendly, the residue of the chemical is Fe(OH)3, a harmless coagulant, and due to its very strong oxidizing capacity it also eliminates biological growth.
