Applying WMS Digital Twin Technology to Manage Material Flows Parallel to Production
The utilization of digital twin technology in steel industry warehousing and logistics is often limited to simulations used to assist in the planning and design of warehousing solutions. Modern WMS (Warehouse Management System) Digital Twins are designed to act as a tool for informed decision-making parallel to ongoing production. The presentation discusses how digital twin technology, using real-time data, can enhance predictability and optimize material flow performance in warehousing operations on a day-to-day basis.
