Secondary Refining Steel Sample Collection and Management Thanks to Industrial Robots

The purpose of this presentation is to describe the new technology developed, increase safety and reduce the manpower needed in danger areas of secondary refining. The integration of industrial robots in sampling activities allows for a precise and autonomous control while introducing the concept of the Industry 4.0. The digitalization of information shared with the existing automation and the efficient and friendly interface allow for an increase in productivity and reduction in human presence in the control pulpit.
