Automatic Reject Door Control System for Unshreddable Scrap Management
During scrap shredding process, the presence of unshreddable material can damage the machine and reduce the efficiency of the process. To mitigate these issues, a reject door mechanism is available to sort out the unshreddable scrap. An innovative application based on a data-driven approach has been developed to automatically identify anomalies, open the door and reject the unshreddable scrap. Moreover, the system enables the identification of potential high- and low-risk conditions, maximizing machine production and avoiding risks of damage.
