Innovative Energy-Saving Lining Concept for Pelletizing Plants
The aim of the ongoing transformation of the steel industry is a reduction of CO2 emissions and an improvement in the environmental sustainability of steel production. The switch from blast furnaces to direct reduction plants is increasing demand for high-quality iron ore pellets. The production of which also consumes energy and emits CO2. Consequently, an innovative lining concept for the pelletizing plants has been developed, which leads to the reduction of CO2, energy consumption, and costs in the production of iron and steel.
