Panel Discussion: Reduce CO2 Emissions From BOF Shop

Reducing CO2 emissions in Basic Oxygen Furnace (BOF) shops requires a combination of technological, operational, and managerial strategies. There are several approaches to lowering CO2 during production. The panelists will discuss these different approaches to reducing CO2 as they pertain to Energy Efficiency, Alternative Energy Sources, Carbon Capture/Storage, Process Optimization, Refractory and Material Designs, Employee Training and Engagement, Life Cycle Analysis and Research & Development.
